Overly specific requests, like having a list of precise elements, can sometimes limit the creativity of the piece and result in a design that feels disjointed. While it's wonderful to incorporate meaning into your tattoo, it's essential not to compromise the overall aesthetic—tattoos should not only carry significance but also look stunning for years to come. Meaning can be subtly woven into the design without being forced into every component. Less is always more.
Try to come with just an idea in mind. For example, ‘I want an owl and snake piece on my chest.’ Ideally, try not to rely on existing tattoos as references. I can work wonders with a loose concept.
